[GOAL] getting healthy in the body. feeling peaceful in the mind

PROBLEMS

  1. drink beer and smoke
  2. eat animal proteins
  3. inactive lifestyle

will be turning 44 this year and have been noticing gradual decline in health after hitting 40. prior attempts to getting back in shape have involved trying to go vegetarian, doing some yoga etc. but without much commitment and framework. also notice conveniently leaving out the first problem- drinking and smoking.

Thoughts
  1. even though not a heavy drinker or smoker, having done it for decades does make it challenging to quit and looking at the bloated belly might not be inspiration enough. but this is excellent place to build will-power and make stopping cold-turkey become the hottest trend. practice ancient yoga technique of tratak to build will-power and take ginger/sulfur to take the edge off

  2. you are what you eat and by eating animals you eat the heavy emotions they go through when getting slaughtered. most health problems start with the gut from undigested food. eat live foods and feel lighter. plant-based proteins are enough for super human strengths https://www.youtube.com/@frank_medrano
  3. our bodies are not designed to sit at the desk for long hours. have developed asymmetries dues to bad postural habits and lack of physical activities have made it worse. being outdoors with an active lifestyle preferably in nature would be ideal to have healthy body and mind. simple exercises at home is enough to stay healthy starting with early morning walks. jump on the rebounder after waking up and before sleeping and when breaking up longer hours at the desk

and if/when a vegetarian/vegan with active lifestyle without intoxicants now the actual journey to wellness may begin. introduce gentle meditation practice to the daily lives and sleep well. early to bed early to rise makes one healthy wealthy and wise
